Tributes to People & Friends
“Anything we accomplish is because we stand on the shoulders of giants.”
Many, many people at each stage of my life have provided support, opportunities, and advice. Relatives, teachers, bosses, colleagues, friends, role models, not to mention all the smart people working in my lane who were responsible for the success of the work. Had I kept good records and written up my tributes to them along the way, this section would be huge. Instead, these are occasional pieces, generally provoked by special circumstances. They are, however, a good sample of how talented, good people were an important part of my world.
